Para poder entender que es SharePoint, iniciare desde cero (0), para que en el proceso de explicaciones o anecdotas entiendan que es para que sirve y que es lo que se esta haciendo. Hoy iniciare con algo fundamental....Que es SharePoint??

Microsoft SharePoint es un grupo de tecnologías complementarias que ayudan a compartir documentos, plantillas, y demas que pueden ir en un portal tanto de Internet como Intranet. En la familia de SharePoint se incluyen Windows SharePoint Services V3 ( ultima que ha salido ) con Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Office SharePoint Sever 2007, y 2007 Office SharePoint Designer. Por lo que podemos ver SharePoint es muy compatible o mejor dicho muy amigable con la familia Office, donde la integracion con Outlook, Office Groove, Office Communicator....asi que veremos paso a paso este gran producto y sus familiares, para la implementacion en nuestras empresas.
